We welcome others because Jesus first welcomed us.
“Welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” – Romans 15.7
Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment for our guests to seek God and find the hope, healing and wholeness that only comes through Jesus Christ. Whether it’s the first time, the first time in a long time, or you regularly attend, we want our church to be accessible and welcoming to all.
“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” – Matthew 25.35
We are “lovers of strangers• and we strive to be inclusive and love our neighbors as Jesus first loved us. All are welcome. Everyone has a seat at the table.
Most of our volunteer teams serve once a month before Sunday Services and during the week for church-wide events. Schedules are written quarterly based on volunteer availability. An observation day, spiritual gifts assessment, and training are provided.
Our welcome begins in the parking lot and extends throughout the building. The Hospitality Team partners with all of the other ministry teams to welcome guests on Sunday mornings and at other ministry team events during the week.
